Understanding the Need for Safer Communities The Current Landscape Americans are feeling less safe and secure in their communities. Growing communities, such as Jefferson County, are not immune from the issues facing so many places, including increased crime and dissatisfaction with the criminal justice system.  These concerns leave citizens feeling vulnerable and uneasy.  We must take all reasonable measures to ensure the safety of Jefferson County's citizens and visitors. 

Being an elected official in our community goes beyond my daily responsibilities in the Prosecutor's Office. Whitney and I are kept on our toes raising four kids. From attending STEM competitions around West Virginia to coaching basketball and participating in great events like charity runs, we love being active members of our community.
